Here's what happens to a newspaper after everyone is fired

drown

verb

1. to die under water or other liquid of suffocation.

The poor guy drowned but I guess the Herald writer wanted to make sure he was dead.

Here's a link to the story - which has been corrected - with reader comments.

  1. Does anyone read The Herald nowadays? I'M BACK IN sOUTH fLORIDA, BUT DECLINEd tHE sUN-sENTINEL AND hERALD EVEN AS A FREEBIE. We old journalists believe it is better to sink than help a substandard paper tread water.
