Fifty years ago today, on Nov. 18, 1963, President John F. Kennedy flew into Miami to give a speech before the Inter-American Press Association at the Americana Hotel in Bal Harbour.

On Nov. 22, 1963 - four days after his Miami visit - the President flew to Dallas to give another speech.
