The Random Pixels Losers Corner welcomes...

....Will Campbell.

Last November Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Stacy Glick offered 18-year-old Will Campbell a sweet deal.

Facing some serious jail time for his involvement in a shooting at Liberty City nightclub in Sept. 2014 that left 15 wounded, Glick instead let Campbell off with a slap on the wrist.

She had no choice. The case against Campbell had unraveled.

Glick sentenced Campbell to just 366 days in prison.

But because he'd already spent close to a year in jail following his arrest, he would soon walk free.

Glick also ordered Campbell to complete a program for at-risk youth, and serve two years of house arrest and four years of probation.

Campbell's defense attorney, Richard Gregg, told Glick, “Even though he’s young, he must grow up,” according to the Miami Herald's David Ovalle. “It’s more than a fair resolution," said Gregg.

“I believe you deserve a second chance, but I’m telling you now, do not disappoint me,” Judge Glick told him. “This is your life. Thirty years is a long time.”

But exactly two months after accepting that deal, the Herald's Ovalle reports Campbell is back behind bars.

One reason: police found a Ruger 9-mm pistol with a loaded clip and two baggies of marijuana inside his bedroom closet, according to an arrest report released Monday.

Eighteen-year-old Will Campbell — who served only one year in jail for the nightclub shooting — was jailed late Friday on a charge of violating probation and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was also charged with marijuana possession.

According to [the] arrest report, a state corrections probation officer learned that Campbell had failed to “remain confined” to his home on the 2300 block of Northwest 86th Street. During a probation compliance check, officers found the 9 mm Ruger with “extended loaded” ammo clip and the marijuana in the closet, according to an arrest report.

Campbell, who was described in a New Times profile last year as an "athletically gifted, goofy kid [who was] loved by family and coaches," is now looking at some serious jail time.
