In Vietnam the networks had a word for it: "bang bang."
It was the moniker attached to newsfilm of the battle du jour with lots and lots of gunfire.
The evening newscasts usually led with this stuff.
There isn't much of it anymore from Iraq due to tighter restrictions placed upon the press.
But there are no such restrictions back here in the good old USA.
The other day Channel 10 videographer Fabrissio Lopez got some "bang bang" video just as gripping as any war footage.
Only this time the battleground was the parking lot of a Biscayne Boulevard Walgreens.
However the only question the video and the story leave unanswered is: are urban criminals getting more desperate?
