He just snatched me by my head and threw me on the ground and stepped on my back, threw [the camera] on the floor, stepped on it and was cussing me out the whole time." -Narces Benoit, a Palm Beach County man who shot the above video, describing actions of Miami Beach police on the morning of May 30.
"Recently in Egypt, Syria and Libya citizens and photojournalists have risked, and in some cases given, their lives to provide visual proof of repressive governmental activities. It is truly a shame that what is viewed abroad as heroic is considered as suspect at home." -Mickey H.
