Miami Daily News, Oct. 16, 1937.

1937 - Oct. 15: James and John Knight purchase the Herald.

[1940 - May 1: John Knight buys Detroit Free Press.]

1941 - Feb. 1: Frank Stoneman dies.

Nov. 16: Herald dedicates new building at 200 S. Miami Ave.
