Miami police have arrested a suspect in connection with Monday's robbery of Joey's Italian Café in Wynwood.

Darryl Sky Manning, 19, was booked into the Miami-Dade jail Thursday afternoon.

A glance at the arrest affidavit reveals that if the cops didn't get him for this caper, they eventually would have nabbed him for something else. We're not talking genius here.

According to cops, Manning and two accomplices burst into the restaurant, their faces covered and brandishing guns. The trio allegedly robbed and terrorized diners at the Wynwood eatery last Monday.

So how did the cops nab Manning?

While he took pains to conceal his face, he left his fingerprints all over the place according to the arrest affidavit. Cops were able to match his prints with those lifted from the cash register.

And while Manning was rifling the cash drawer, one of his pals pointed a gun at a diner and searched his pockets but missed his wallet. As he left he grabbed the guy's iPhone.

Total take from the restaurant that deals mostly with credit cards? The iPhone and $45.
