CAUTION: Watching this video could make you sick

If you've ever watched Jeff Weinsier's reports on filthy South Florida restaurants on Local 10, then you know he's uncovered some pretty disgusting things.

But the piece he aired last night just might be the most egregious food safety violation he's ever uncovered.

Weinsier had gone to China City in Opa-Locka to ask the owners why they had been shut down the week before, but he wasn't prepared for what he saw behind the eatery.

One has to wonder why these people were even allowed to open a restaurant in the first place, evidenced by the fact they have absolutely no concept of food safety.

What you are about to see is the reason I haven't eaten at a Chinese restaurant in years.

    EEEWWWWwwww. I've taken to driving around the back of some restaurants just to see what it looks like back there - often a good indicator. Also, when he was in the front of the restaurant it didn't really look that great either. Not sure I would go to a place that looked like that.

      You are 100% correct about the backs of restaurants. The cleanliness of the area around the back, INCLUDING the dumpster, is a good indicator on how everything else is done.
