The Miami Herald's Marc Caputo is at it again!

Note to Florida politicians everywhere: If you're under criminal investigation and a reporter confronts you with a video camera...for God's sake, don't run.

Especially if that reporter is the Miami Herald's Marc Caputo. Running away while you're being filmed by Caputo just makes you look twice as guilty.

Consider the latest cinematic masterpiece from Caputo.

In it, Democratic State Rep. Daphne Campbell of Miami Shores, runs from Caputo when he asks her about a Medicaid fraud investigation into a company she runs.

I firmly believe that if Caputo filmed an interview the Pope or the PTA Teacher of the Year, he'd end up making them look guilty of something.

Here's my all-time favorite Marc Caputo video.

In this one, Caputo confronts Denis Morales, the Chief of Staff to then Miami-Dade mayor Carlos Alvarez and asks him about a $17,000 bonus the mayor paid him. At the time, Morales was already earning stealing over $200,000 a year from the county...more than the governor of Florida.

  1. Marc Caputo is my new hero. Fantastic! If Daphne Campbell was innocent, why would she be running from questions?
